An All Up will automatically reinvest winnings from one race and bet type onto another race and bet type. This means any investments or winning dividends are allocated to the nominated betting pool on each nominated race. For example a dividend from the Win pool in one race could be reinvested onto a selection in the Place pool in the next race.

It is important to note that an Each Way bet will result in two bets of equal value being placed on the nominated race and selections - one will be placed into the Win pool and one into the Place pool.

Any races used in a single All Up must be from the one race meeting, with 6 races (or legs) the maximum allowed. Below is an example of an All Up using multiple bet types and multiple selections over 3 races. If the following selections were taken

The bet will cost $4 for a $1 Investment and cover the below combinations

The result of the All Up will be dependent on the result of all three legs. In the above example if:

• Leg 1 - Selection 1 wins
• Leg 2 - Selection 4 Wins and selection 5 finishes in a place
• Leg 3 - Selection 8 finishes in a place
  

All Up is not a Flexi bet. This means the selected investment will be applied to all bet combinations which form the All Up. Any return from the original investment in Leg 1 will be automatically invested onto the next Leg.

The return is calculated by multiplying the investment by the official dividend for a winning selection.

Using the previous example of a 3 leg All Up with multiple sections, the following demonstrates the multiplying dividend based on a $1 investment per combination - $4 in total. The example uses the following results:

• Leg 1 - Selection 1 wins and the Win dividend is $2
• Leg 2 - Selection 4 wins and the Win dividend is $5 and $1.50 for the place
• Leg 2 - Selection 5 places and the Place dividend is $4.00
• Leg 3 - Selection 8 places and the Place dividend is $1.50

This All Up would return $31.50 from the original $4 investment.

An easy way to calculate the bet combinations in a straight All Up is by multiplication based on the number of selections across each leg of the All Up. However as an Each Way bet results in two bets per selection you must double the number of selections in any Each Way nominated legs. (This will not work for All Ups using Formula) For example:

When a Quinella is included in an All Up first determine the number of combinations within the All Up. (e.g A Quinella with 4 selections contains 6 possible winning combinations.)

As All Up is not a Flexi bet, the combinations must be multiplied by the investment to calculate the overall cost.

By using an All Up formula you can place an All Up in which all legs do not have to win to for the bet to return a dividend.

When using a Formula you are covering more potential outcomes by taking more bet combinations across the legs of the All Up. A summary of the available Formulas is below;

It is not possible to select a formula which is greater than the number of legs in an All Up.

An easy way to remember what each Formula means is - the Formula number you select is how many winning legs you need for your bet to return a dividend. i.e. a three leg All Up with Formula 2 selected will return a dividend if at least two legs of the bet are successful.

It is possible to select multiple Formulas on one All Up to increase the bet combinations; however this will also increase the cost of the bet. The more legs that win the larger the return as more bet combinations will be successful. i.e. a three leg All Up with Formula 2 and 3 selected in which all three legs are successful will return dividends for all of the two leg combinations as well as the three leg All Up.

Importantly there is no change to standard All Up's - for anyone that does not wish to use the formula simply skip the Formula section and the bet will default to the maximum legs only.

If a Formula is selected that does not match the total number of All Up legs the bet will no longer default. In this instance the Formula number which corresponds with the number of legs in the All Up must be nominated to bet onto the straight All Up in addition to other selected Formulas.

When placing an All Up it is possible to use multiple formulas. For example, on a 3 leg All Up it is possible to use the following formulas either by themselves or all together.

A 3 Leg All Up will default to a Formula 3, a straight All Up, if no formulas are selected. Likewise a 4 leg All Up will default to a Formula 4 if no formulas are selected. This means there is no change from current All Up process for customers wishing to place a straight All Up.

Using a 3 leg All Up as an example, if the following selections were taken and Formula 2 and 3 were selected as well, the bet would cost $13 for a $1 Investment.

The multiple outcomes covered would be: Formula 3 (Treble)
Leg 1 into Leg 2 into Leg 3

Formula 2 (Doubles) - will take extra combinations so all of your legs don't have to win

• Leg 1 into Leg 2
• Leg 1 into Leg 3
• Leg 2 into Leg 3

The result of the All Up will be dependent on the result of all three legs. In the above example if

• Leg 1 - Selection 1 wins
• Leg 2 - Selection 4 wins and 5 finishes outside of a place
• Leg 3 - Selection 8 finishes in a place

If any selections in an All Up are scratched the investment on that selection will automatically progress to the next leg. If it is the last leg of the All Up the bet will return a dividend.

If all selections across one bet combination are scratched the initial All Up investment on that combination will be refunded.

To place an All Up

• Select the Race Meeting and Races
• Select a Bet Type - one bet type per leg
• Make selections
• Repeat for each leg
• Use Formula or leave blank to place as a standard All Up
• Choose Investment - All Up is not a Flexi bet so your Investment amount will be multiplied by the total number of bet combinations
