Races MR Sandown - HILLSIDE

Raced wide no cover, one paced, beat one home at Caulfield. Settled on speed, drove hard late just missed at Hillside. He should find this race easier and rates highly with Logan McNeil retaining the ride.

Midfield no cover, couldn't catch them 2L at Hillside. Positioned midfield and had chance to run on but ultimately outclassed 2.4L at Apiam Bendigo. She just needs luck from a wide barrier to be in the finish.

Weakened out of the race after doing a lot of chasing 7.8L at Pakenham Bm70 over 1000m Synthetic. Had a chance to run on after a nice run however satisfied with fourth 1.4L at Pakenham Bm64 over 1000m Synthetic.

Got going when the race was won but encouraging nonetheless, fifth 1.6L at Morphettville Bm64 over 1050m. Slow to begin, got going late, solid effort 2.9L at Hillside F&M Bm70 over 1000m Soft 5. Is a second-up winner.

Couldn't muster a sprint in the straight after camping behind the leaders at Morphettville. Sat on the pace and loomed as a danger but could only fight on at Morphettville Parks. He should appreciate the drop back in class.

Outside leader, stuck on gamely, just held 3rd 1.3L at Lakeside Cl1 over 1300m Soft 6. Midfield, outside, kept fighting late, solid run 2.5L at Flemington 3Y Bm70 over 1200m.

Raced on the pace, placed under hard riding and tired into fifth at Ballarat Synthetic. Caught the eye storming home for second from back in the field at Pakenham Synthetic. She will be rattling home late in the run.

Began well, took a sit, hit the front, caught late 0.1L at The Valley. Sat outside leader, drove hard late just missed 0.1L at Hillside. Expect to see sharp improvement from her second-up.

Had the run of race behind the leaders and just missed for second 0.1L at Moe Bm64 over 1008m Heavy 9. One-paced to the line and always well back 3.7L at Pakenham Bm64 over 1000m Synthetic.

Got back worse than midfield running on ok late into fifth 2.3L at Bairnsdale Bm58 over 1000m. Always doing the chasing after displaying no early speed 5.4L at Ballarat Bm58 over 1000m Synthetic.

Made ground from midfield and wasn't disgraced for fourth 3.5L at TAB Park Werribee Bm64 over 1116m Heavy 8. Restrained back, held up badly very unlucky 1.6L at Caulfield 3Yf Hcp over 1100m.

Went forward to contend for the lead and held on well for second 0.3L at Newcastle F&M Bm64 over 1200m. Towards rear, appeared to race flat 6.6L at Warwick Farm Bm72 over 1100m Heavy 8. Nicely placed by trainer here.

On pace with cover, swallowed at the 100m mark 0.7L at Mornington 3Yf Bm64 over 1000m Soft 6. Just off speed, found them to be too slick 4.1L at Hillside 3Y Bm70 over 1000m Soft 5.

Went forward and applied pressure to the leader surging away for strong win 2.8L at Pakenham Mdn-Sw over 1100m Synthetic. Settled on speed, boxed on nicely in straight 2.4L at Caulfield 3Yf Hcp over 1100m.

Driven to the lead but was run down late when second 0.8L at Geelong Mdn-Sw over 1135m Soft 6. Settled on the speed and burst clear to win softly 3.8L at Pakenham Mdn-Sw over 1000m Synthetic.
