Steward's Comments: Raced keenly through the early and middle stages when leading. Rider reported he was not instructed to lead, however, after commencing well from barrier one he found himself leading the event through the early stages in anticipation another runner would improve in advance of him where he would then establish a position with cover, however, this did not eventuate, therefore he elected to allow the mare to stride forward through the middle stages when it commenced to race keenly.
