Steward's Comments: On jumping shifted out and bumped. When questioned re being held up in the early part of the straight, rdr std in the early stages he had the option of sitting behind the favourite, however he felt the better choice was to allow his mnt to improve to the inside of that rnr and then make ground to be racing in advance of it through the middle stages. He said he was hoping the rnrs in advance of him would take him into the race, however when they did not quicken satisfactorily, he was badly held up and had to.
