Trainer was advised that a veterinary clearance will be required prior to the gelding starting in a race again. Trainer later advised the gelding was found to have a fracture to the near knee and he would now seek further veterinary specialist advice.

Steward's Comments: Began only fairly, then ridden vigorously in the early stages to lead. A post race veterinary examination of the gelding which performed below expectations did not reveal any abnormalities. Trainer later advised the gelding would now go for a spell and he could detect no apparent abnormalities. Trainer further advised the gelding has since undergone throat surgery.
