Steward's Comments: Tired over the final 100m. In relation to the filly setting a strong tempo through the middle stages and if there was an opportunity to attempt to settle it, rider advised that after establishing the lead through the early stages, he allowed the filly to stride freely as it has an inclination to over race when if attempting to be settled, however, it had failed to run on strongly in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to have returned with an elevated heart rate.
