Went forward to sit just off the leaders but served up a below par finish 4L at Doomben Cl1 over 1350m. Spectacular performance to get up to win after getting so far back 0.4L at Eagle Farm Cl1 over 1200m. Impressive win first-up.

No match for the winner but fought on boldly to hold third 1.6L at Eagle Farm 0 - 65 over 1000m. Led even speed, dropped out in straight 10.6L at Doomben Bm68 over 1200m Soft 5.

Ran on well and looked a winning chance but was edged out for third position 2.7L at Tamworth Cl1 over 1000m. Really motored home the last part into third 1.2L at Scone Cl1 over 900m Soft 5. Second-up.
