Steward's Comments: Bumped and buffeted on jumping becoming unbalanced, losing 1L. Ridden along through the early stages in an attempt to improve its position and raced wide until establishing the lead from the 1400m and mis-strode making the crossing where the gelding then commenced to race keenly through the middle stages and failed to settle. Tired in the straight. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
