Pushed along from midfield to make ground for fifth but found others too good 4.7L at Ballarat Bm70 over 1400m Soft 7. Flew home to win after settling back in the running 1L at Mount Gambier Bm70 over 1200m Soft 5.

Looked in control of the race a long way from home and won impressively 3L at Seymour 0 - 62 over 1200m Soft 6. Pounced on the lead and sailed away from rivals to win 3.3L at Apiam Bendigo Bm64 over 1300m Soft 7. The one to beat.
