Races MR Sandown - LAKESIDE

Settled on the speed and tried very hard for third but found a couple better 2.8L at Ballarat Bm70 over 1000m Synthetic. Sent forward and gave backers a sight before weakening into sixth 1.4L at Ballarat Bm70 over 1200m Synthetic.

Didn't come into the race after settling midfield 9L at Sportsbet Sandown Hillside. Driven to the lead but was run down late when second 0.4L at Mildura. He is the likely leader and will be sure to give a great sight out in front.

3back the rails, worked home soundly once clear 6.5L at Flemington Bm84 over 1600m. Went forward and looked a winning chance before fading late sixth 1.5L at Bairnsdale Bairnsdale Cup over 1600m. Is a first-up winner.

Running on well into fourth from midfield in a grinding effort at Caulfield. Couldn't quicken when asked for the effort after positioning worse than midfield at Flemington. Building up momentum nicely towards a much deserved win.

Determined win after sitting close to the lead in transit 0.8L at Wangaratta Bm64 over 1100m Soft 5. Sat behind the leader, had chance to improve, succumbed into sixth 8.3L at Morphettville Parks Bm66 over 1250m Heavy 9.

Trailed leader, weakened in straight, kept trying 10L at Caulfield Bm70 over 1600m Soft 5. Ran on well from midfield to gain second showing good form 1.8L at Pakenham Bm64 over 1000m Synthetic. Second-up.

Lost all hope after a slow beginning and did finish off late for fifth 5.5L at Sportsbet Sandown Lakeside Bm78 over 1200m Heavy 8. Hardly sighted in the race until the final stages grabbing sixth 3.4L at Sportsbet Sandown Hillside Bm70 over 1300m Soft 6.

Settled on the speed and tried very hard but found a couple better finishing third 1L at Stawell Bm70 over 1100m. Had chance to come into the race when fourth 3.5L at Sportsbet Sandown Hillside F&M Bm78 over 1000m Soft 6. Warrants respect with second-up stats.

Given time to balance up fifth after getting back early 4.9L at Caulfield 3Y Hcp over 1000m Soft 7. Weakened out of the race after doing a lot of chasing 5.5L at Flemington Bm78 over 1000m Heavy 8. Nicely placed by trainer here.

Trailed just off the pace and looked to have few excuses 3.1L at Sportsbet Sandown. Stormed home for a close second after getting back 0.5L at Sportsbet Sandown Lakeside. She tends to race extremely well at this track.

Super job to make up many lengths from back in the field late for sixth 1.2L at Sportsbet Sandown Hillside Bm70 over 1000m Soft 6. Held position to the line for third after going forward to sit with the leaders 0.7L at Sportsbet Sandown Lakeside Bm70 over 1200m Heavy 9.
