Wasn't given much hope but hit the frame when returning from a spell last start in the G2 Charlie Hall Chase (4800m) at Wetherby. Generally goes well at this stage of the prep, with three wins from seven second-up runs.

Kicked off this campaign well in a steeplechase (3900m) at Wetherby four weeks ago, finishing third. Fitter and worth following up.

Resumed in ideal fashion with a win in a steeplechase (5000m) at Cheltenham on October 26. Further improved and has the ability. Will go close.
