Steward's Comments: Crowded for a short distance when passing the 1600m. Rider reported the gelding felt uncomfortable in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer later advised, after further veterinary tests and blood samples were taken, no irregularities were detected and the gelding pulled up well enough to continue on with its campaign.
