Steward's Comments: Rdr reported the mare travelled satisfactorily through the early and middle stages, however it appeared to lose confidence when it struck a softer patch approaching the home turn and then did not respond to his riding from that point and gave ground over the concluding stages. A post-race vet exam revealed no abnormalities. Tnr subsequently reported satisfaction with the post-race condition of the mare but advised it would now continue its preparation in Melbourne.
