Steward's Comments: Tired in the straight. Rider expressed disappointment and could offer no explanation in the performance. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities other than the gelding coughing on a number of occasions. Trainer later advised the gelding underwent a lung wash which revealed no significant abnormalities. He further advised he would lighten its work load over the next week and would have it undergo an endoscopic examination following its next gallop and would advise Stewards of any abnorma.
