Steward's Comments: Raced ungenerously through the middle stages with the rider having to steady his mount on a number of occasions between the 800m and 400m. When questioned regarding the instructions issued, rider advised that from a favorable barrier was to be ridden prominently, however after beginning only fairly and runners to his outside in advance crossing and mindful of the mare's racing manners was reluctant to fulfil his instructions and therefore raced further back than instructed.
